Beast

Just practicing rendering in pencil... something i haven't done in so long i was worried i would forget how...
and it did take abit more warming up then it would have otherwise... In fact the whole peace took longer then expected...
i don't know if that's because i was out of practice or because i am so sick right now
This little dude bears some resemblance to the Egyptian monster 'Ammut' or 'Ammit' the devourer but it was never meant to look like him, in fact the 2 have only one thing in common and that is the reptilian head...
Just as a little side tid bit Ammut was a goddess that nobody worshiped... only feared, because of her roll of devouring the soul of those who where not pure in life... She is very interesting if you want to read up on her...
but again she has nothing to do with this little guy...
infact you can blame one of my tripper, sickness induced, nightmares for creating this creepy critter...
